PORNSTAR found his music roots in the clubs of San Francisco where he learned the ropes under some of the biggest names in the trance scene around the Bay Area. His well-known and award-winning career in the Adult Industry was the elephant in the room whenever he took to the turntables, so instead of running from it, he completely embraced it and changed his deejay name in 2004 to DJ P0RNSTAR.

Go Go Sets: Snap Boys (

Andrew Christian and Vancouver designer Dirt Squirrel have teamed up to bring together a night of sexy men in underwear, a runway show and Go Go dance performances. Sexy Tribal House and Tech House from DJ Pornstar featuring Andrew Christian model, Cory Lee and Mr. Gay Canada, Derek Bedry as they hit the stage for a double-header Underwear Fashion Show. Rhonda is a woman, Rhonda is a party, Rhonda is a label. Rhonda is an ideal, a feeling, a trait. She’s on the tip of everyone’s tongue, on the top of every list, inside the places you wanna be, she’s the face you always hope you’ll see. Nobody knows where she came from or why she came, all we know is that she JUST WON’T STOP.

Rhonda and her followers have been building monthly shrines to Dionysus since early 2008 with live soundtracks from some of dance music’s most influential floor fillers such as Cosmo Vitelli, Simian Mobile Disco, Kon & Amir, The Magician, Still Going, Monty Luke, Special Disco Version (LCD Soundsystem), Hot Chip, Scott Grooves, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Runaway, the Rapture, Hercules & Love Affair, In Flagranti, Marshall Jefferson, Jacques Renault, Juan MacLean, Aeroplane, Harvey, Roy Davis, Azari & III, Tim Sweeney, Mike Simonetti, Traxx, House of House, Nicky Siano, Todd Edwards, DJ Pierre, and Holy Ghost. Her vim and vigor for nightlife have landed her on the top of “must do” lists the world over, making Rhonda L.A.’s undisputed mecca for HOUSE, DISCO, AND POLYSEXUAL HARD PARTYING.

More recently Rhonda is setting up a 12″ record label under the name Rhonda International. Keep your ears peeled for limited run releases in the hemispheres of house, disco, and hedonism.

Change has been a constant theme throughout the successful career of Green Velvet, but as he has crossed genres, explored themes from the comedic to the serious and changed monikers, the common thread running through the music he has made for nearly two decades is its roots in and dedication to the Chicago House sound.

Join us for one of the most beautiful and diverse parades in the world. The Vancouver Pride Parade was granted civic status in 2013 and is one of the city's flagship events! Attracting major crowds every year, the Pride Parade is renowned on the international stage as one of the largest and most successful LGBTQ2+ events in the world.

Come down for the hottest day Vancouver has all year, but don't forget to bring your sunscreen, hat, and water! Temperatures run high on Parade day, so keep out of the sun and stay hydrated!

The parade will kickoff on Thurlow at Robson street, turn left down Desman Street, and continue onto Beach Avenue.

Members of the Greater Vancouver Native Cultural Society, a non-profit Two-Spirit community organization, will be present at all Pride events, to perform the 'Down Ceremony'. The Down Ceremony, is a sacred ceremony, used by many coastal First Nations, and gives opportunity to cleanse the grounds on which pride events will be held. The Down feathers, which are blown into the air, is a part of the ceremony cleansing, which offers a blessing, and it may fall on your person. It also signifies that 'we come in peace'!

Don't want to sit outside in the sun? Buy tickets now to have Brunch at the Boathouse with a unique vantage point of the parade.
